I’ve dusted four times.

What happens is when you die, you are frst fatally wounded for 5 minutes, where people can bind your wounds or heal them, etc. If no one does, you die. You’re dead five minutes unless an earth caster revives you. If you still aren’t fixed up, you turn to dust. You play a game with Xer (essentially hte grim reaper) where you have 13 stones. Every time you die you replace a clear stone with a red stone, and every time you die you draw a stone. If the stone is clear, you come back to life. If it’s red, you are permanently dead, called perming. So it gets harder to come back every time.

My first death was just dumb. I mean, it was so stupid it’s an awesome story now.

The first time I died was Morsander. I FINALLY got unlost from the woods and was following some random people around while they did stuff. We came around a large building and a bunch of dudes rolled up in royal garb of akingdom I didn’t recognize- I assume it was the kingdom of Morsander but I heard he wasn’t actually there so I don’t know? Anyway sot hey roll up and they’re like KNEEL. and the really high leveled people I’m with get the fuck down on their knees and I’m like uhh what oh my god and I kneel. And then suddenly giant spiders attack and they’ve got glowing red eyes (GOGGLES OH YM GOD SO COOL) and no one else gets up. I’m like,s hit this guy must be fruggin important. And then one of the dudes is like DEFEND YOURSELVES HOLY CRAP and I just get up and book it. A component (little orange packets of foam and bb gun pellets that represent thrown damage like spells or arrows) hits me in the back of the head and I hear someone shriek ‘range mid knock out!’ behind me. This means I am unconscious for the next sixty seconds. I hit the ground. Ten seconds left, Icky, who I am totally AWESOME FRIENDS with in and out of character rolls up and kills me- because he thought I was a spider.

So that was dumb.

My second death was also morsander. There I was, in the tavern, enjoying some lovely cake when these walking dolls come up and possess me. I’m dragged off my someone my character isaffected with a love spell with who’s possessed by a sadistic dollmaker. I spent six and a half straight minutse screaming in agony while I was cut open and filled with stuffing while tied to a bed with a dozen people trying to break in haha. Finally I died and turned into a zombie doll thing. I rolled around creeping and whatnot for awhile before htey dusted me and I died.

Third time I died was also morsander, I got killed by a spider trying to protect the injured. Everyone got taken out though and there was no one to save me so I turned to dust.

Fourth death was during that scary mod I talked about last post lol.

Those were my dusts. I die ALL THE TIME though and barely get rezzed sometimes heheh. Amazing death rez combo once, I was protecting the earth caster so she could rez people, and I turned for half a second at a noise andgot cleave stealth deathed from behind, which is basically autokill. I basically just buckled my knees and before I had even hit the ground the caster had grabbed me by the collar and shrieked the spell incant for revive. I was up before I even went down. It was absolutely amazing lol.
